The nearest villages are Mickleton and Lower Quinton. Mickleton has very good facilities a great shop stocking most things you might need, a post office, two great eating places The Three Ways Hotel, serving wonderful food famous throughout the world for 'The Pudding Club' and The Kings Arms serving fantastic food and wine, which comes highly recommended (although it is advisable to book in advance, especially at the weekends as it is very popular)
Lower Quinton has a post office, a Chinese takeaway, The College Arms serving good pub food and the Barn Antiques centre, which is a great place to pick up a special something. There are also two farm shops nearby selling local meat, cheeses, cakes, seasonal fruit and vegetables. |

Mickleton on Bakers Hill are Kiftsgate House and Hidcote Manor, a National
Trust property with a garden centre and in the summer, 'Maize Maze'
great entertainment for the children. Also only a short journey away
are the beautiful Cotswold villages of Broadway, Chipping Campden, Snowshill,
Stow on the Wold and the Shakespeare country towns of Stratford-upon-Avon;
the birth place of William Shakespeare, Warwick and Royal Leamington
Spa.
